$45-53 12 month contract Must Have E3 Series must be able to work onsite Proficient in Pro Cable PTC Creo Parametric Job Description The main function of a hardware Electrical-Mechanical Designer position is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and components designed for use in elevator systems and Creo Cable and E3 Zuken WD. The candidate should not only be adept at handling typical design tasks (modeling and detailing) but must be able to effectively communicate cross functionally.Job Responsibilities:
- Provide design support to internal and external customers
- Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness
- Support resolution of engineering issues
- Develop component and system level models and drawings
- Support cost reduction efforts
- Support FTB reduction
- Support Engineers with 3D studies and prototyping
- Support engineering CN process
- Support to system level model updatesRole Specific Skills & Competencies
- Experience with Creo 10 or higher
- Proficient in Pro Cable
- Programming experience using NotePad
- Component, Assembly, Subsystem, and System Modeling
- Use of advanced mathematics techniques for part fitment and design feasibility
- Experience with defining welding, GD&T, Tolerancing, material specifications and finishes within drawings and models
- Parametric Design and programming
- Collaboration with Engineers and internal customers
- Live Otis Absolutes & foster Inclusion & engagement.
- Works at pace with multi deliverables.
- E3 Zuken Wiring Diagrams
- Work independently with minimal oversite and still deliver to target
- Collaborate efficiently with engineers
- Effectively interpret engineering markups to convey design intent into 3D models and drawings
