Develop PCB layouts ensuring compliance with electrical, thermal, EMC/EMI, manufacturability, and reliability requirements. Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to achieve robust product designs. Perform component selection, derating analysis, and obsolescence reviews. Support design reviews and implement engineering changes based on review feedback. Develop and execute hardware verification and validation activities. Create and maintain technical documentation including: Design documents Product drawings Engineering change documentation Test procedures Qualification test plans Qualification test reports Test summary reports Manufacturing support documentation Support prototype builds, debugging, board bring-up, and root cause analysis of hardware issues. Work closely with suppliers, fabrication houses, and contract manufacturers to ensure successful product realization. Participate in requirements analysis, risk assessments, and design verification activities. Ensure compliance with applicable industry and customer standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development. Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as: Altium Designer Cadence Allegro/OrCAD Mentor Graphics (expirable) Experience with multi-layer PCB design and signal integrity considerations. Knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design. Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
