Description Join AWS as a Cloud Hardware Development Engineer to support the development of next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. 10012 Key job responsibilities

• Development of complex PCB designs incorporating FPGA SoCs
• Support system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements
• Support new product introduction (NPI) processes with contract manufacturers
• Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits
• Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance, thermal, and signal integrity requirements
• Partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define hardware interfaces and requirements
• Participate in design reviews and drive technical consensus across multiple teams A day in the life You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and FPGA engineers in our dedicated product development lab.

Your responsibilities will span supporting innovative hardware solutions, conducting PCB design reviews, troubleshooting prototypes, and providing technical influence to team members. You'll establish strong partnerships with product managers to define technical requirements, collaborate with FPGA engineers to refine hardware interfaces, and work alongside manufacturing teams to ensure successful production scaling. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repairing experience
• Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout
• Experience with FPGA SoC hardware integration, hardware validation and debugging Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
