- Strong Leadership skills, needs a certification from the list that follows, be sure to highlight the certification in submission.
- Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-the-floor EHS support at our manufacturing facility.
The primary responsibilities would include:
- Bechler's degree in engineering with certification any with safety.
- Conducting routine floor audits and safety observations.
- Supporting employee engagement and safety initiatives.
- Assisting with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
- Monitoring compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and coaching to operators, supervisors, and managers on EHS matters.
- Assisting with hazard identification and risk reduction activities.
- Supporting safety training and communication efforts as needed.
- Maintaining EHS documentation and assisting with compliance-related activities.
- We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment and strong working knowledge of:
- OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and machine safety.
- Fall Protection requirements and implementation.
- Dock safety, including pedestrian and powered industrial vehicle interactions.
- ISO 45001 and
ISO 14001
Management systems- Emergency Response Programs, emergency preparedness, and incident management.
- Risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies.
- Incident investigation and corrective action processes.
