The salary range for this position is $32/hr

Benefits:

This is a contract position and does not include employer-provided benefits. We are looking for an EHS Engineer to support and maintain workplace health, safety, and environmental programs. The candidate will work with employees, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions. Conduct safety training on PPE, emergency response, and workplace safety procedures. Support OSHA compliance, EHS audits, and regulatory inspections. Perform industrial hygiene activities, including air quality and exposure monitoring. Support chemical, hazardous materials, and fire safety programs. Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend workplace improvements. Review machinery, equipment, and facility changes for safety requirements. Maintain EHS records, reports, and compliance documentation. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering teams on safety requirements. Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs. Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the workplace.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health, Safety, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in EHS, safety engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Experience with accident investigation, safety training, industrial hygiene, and chemical safety
