EH&S Specialist Orchid Orthopedic Solutions seeks an EH&S Specialist to lead safety and environmental programs in a regulated orthopedic manufacturing plant. You will manage OSHA and environmental compliance, conduct risk assessments and incident investigations, and drive corrective actions that protect employees and support reliable, high-quality production. Partnering with operations, engineering, and quality, you'll deliver safety training, support audits, track key EHS metrics, and promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with Orchid's mission to improve patient outcomes worldwide. Implement and maintain EHS programs to meet OSHA, EPA, and medical device regulations Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and job hazard analyses across production areas Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions Deliver EHS training and onboarding for employees and contractors to strengthen safety culture Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics, supporting audits and regulatory inspections Support ISO 14001/45001 or similar management systems and continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate waste management, chemical handling, and environmental compliance activities Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality to integrate EHS into daily manufacturing processes OSHA compliance Environmental regulations (EPA, state/local) Risk assessment and hazard analysis Incident investigation and root cause analysis Safety training development and delivery Industrial hygiene and ergonomics basics EHS data tracking and reporting
