regulations, HazMat, chemical handling, SDS management, wastewater, or local fire/safety departments , we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental programs Ensure compliance with

OSHA, EPA, DOT

HazMat, and state/local regulations Manage chemical safety, SDSs, Hazard Communication (HazCom), labeling, storage, and segregation Oversee hazardous material transportation requirements, including UN identification numbers, hazard classifications, packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation Coordinate wastewater and environmental compliance programs Conduct facility safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Investigate accidents, injuries, chemical spills, and hazardous material incidents Perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective action plans Work with EPA, OSHA, local fire departments, and other regulatory agencies Develop and deliver employee training covering safety, chemicals, HazMat, SDSs, OSHA, and job-specific hazards Identify potential chemical, waste, and environmental hazards and recommend corrective actions Maintain required safety, environmental, and regulatory records and reports What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of safety, environmental, or compliance experience Experience in a manufacturing, production, chemical, industrial, or similar environment Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance Working knowledge of DOT HazMat regulations (49 CFR) Experience with chemical handling and Hazard Communication Experience managing Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) Familiarity with EPA and wastewater compliance Experience working with local fire/safety departments or regulatory agencies Strong understanding of hazardous material storage, labeling, and documentation Excellent communication and training skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to respond effectively to chemical spills and hazardous material emergencies Experience That Will Get Our Attention ⭐ Chemical manufacturing or chemical industry experience ⭐ EHS/Safety experience in a manufacturing environment ⭐ OSHA 30 or OSHA instructor experience ⭐ DOT HazMat certification/training ⭐ Experience working directly with the EPA ⭐ Hazardous waste management ⭐ Wastewater compliance ⭐ GSP or CSP certification ⭐ First Aid/CPR/AED Trainer ⭐ Experience developing and implementing safety programs from the ground up What's Offered Competitive salary 100% employer-paid medical plan Employer-paid Short-Term Disability 401(k) with company match Dental and vision Flexible Spending Accounts Long-Term Disability Life Insurance Paid time off Wellness program Approximately 10% domestic travel
