We are seeking an ambitious Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to join the team in our Arlington, VA office who thrives on challenges and wants to grow their career. The basic requirements for this position include: Bachelor's Degree 2 years experience -relevant internship/co-op experience considered for recent graduates EIT accreditation a plus Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Knowledge of the design of plumbing & fire protection systems General knowledge of applicable codes Good Communication, Presentation and client interface abilities Responsibilities of the role inlcude : Perform surveys Layout and sizing of plumbing and fire protection systems Equipment layout and sizing Determine schedules and details required for the project Ensure flow of information between disciplines Assist in writing reports and feasibility studies Review shop drawings with project engineer Field contractors' questions Once you begin your career at Bala, you will be engaged in a comprehensive training program with the mutual goal of providing you with a strong technical base to become a successful engineer at our firm.
