  • About the Role
  • We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is part of a dedicated team responsible for all supplier quality activities within the plant. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Chassis, Exterior, and Thermal systems, ensuring that supplier components meet our stringent quality standards.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Manage and monitor supplier quality performance for assigned commodities (Chassis, Exterior, Thermal).

+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for supplier-related issues.

+ Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and compliance with specifications.

+ Support incoming inspection processes and resolve non-conformance issues promptly.

+ Participate in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and ensure proper documentation.

+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing) to address quality concerns.

+ Maintain accurate records of supplier audits, quality metrics, and corrective actions.

  • Qualifications
  • + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ 3+ years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering within automotive or manufacturing environments.

+ Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC).

+ Familiarity with chassis, exterior, and thermal systems.

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently on second shift and manage multiple priorities.

  • Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000/K
