An industrial utility truck and van manufacturer located in Fontana is hiring for Mechanical Engineers to join their team. These are 1st shift roles with a 5am start time. Temp - Hire positions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of new and custom engineered products for the company. Create and modify CAD drawings and documentation packages for release to the manufacturing floor. Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and associated costing data. Write and optimize programs for automated manufacturing equipment. Review and improve current manufacturing processes, applying engineering techniques to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times. Assist in implementing process improvements using Lean manufacturing principles and conducting time-motion studies. Support compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and other applicable safety and building standards. Contribute to various engineering and manufacturing projects as requested by senior engineering staff.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
