Experience:

3+ Years Position Overview We are seeking an experienced MPS Support & Deployment Specialist to join the Post Services team. This role will provide technical and operational support for media production and post-production workflows, helping filmmakers and production teams quickly resolve issues and keep content production on track. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of post-production workflows, media systems, production technology, and content creation processes, combined with excellent troubleshooting and customer support skills. You will serve as a key connection between production teams, regional technology teams, Product, and Engineering by identifying recurring issues, monitoring system health, and translating production feedback into actionable improvements. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality technical and operational support to production and post-production teams.

Troubleshoot issues affecting media workflows and quickly unblock productions while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Monitor Content Hub MPS automated file transfers and system health through operational dashboards.

Proactively identify potential failures and remediate issues before they impact productions or content delivery.

Provide subject-matter expertise across MPS tools and workflows, including: Footage Ingest and Auto Ingest

Media Library

Conform Pulls

VFX Pulls

Dailies workflows

Review and approval workflows

Automated transcription and clip-creation workflows

Analyze production issues and identify root causes, recurring patterns, and potential workflow improvements.

Gather feedback and operational signals from production teams and translate them into actionable insights for Product and Engineering.

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve bugs and workflow issues.

Collaborate with regional Production Technology teams to provide local production context and workflow expertise.

Support tool deployments, process improvements, and adoption of new media-production technologies.

Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism while supporting time-sensitive production environments. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in post-production support, media operations, studio/network support, production technology, or process management within a media/post-production environment.

Strong understanding of content creation, on-set production, and post-production workflows.

Hands-on familiarity with professional media and post-production applications such as: Avid Media Composer

Adobe Premiere Pro

FilmLight Baselight

Colorfront OSD

Autodesk PIX

Flow Capture

Aspera

Experience with workflows such as dailies, footage ingest, VFX pulls, conform, media transfer, review, and approval.

Understanding of color science and color-management conceptswithin post-production workflows.

Command-line proficiency and basic understanding of APIs and API interactions.

Knowledge of common data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.

Familiarity with media-industry standards such as: ALE

EDL

MHL / ASC-MHL

FDL

Understanding of storage environments including local storage, SAN, and cloud storage.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting major film, television, streaming, studio, VFX, or post-production environments.

Experience with media asset management and automated media-transfer workflows.

Experience working with production technology, media systems, or cloud-based content workflows.

Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on technical issues and product improvements.

Strong understanding of professional color workflows and digital media pipelines.
