Responsibilities:
Provide manufacturing and engineering support in forms of supplier management, materials specifications, testing & evaluation, and further establish new/ existing quality control processes. Use problem solving and statistical knowledge to lead in issue resolution and implement corrective actions. Support in the analysis of engine parts for failure diagnosis in support of HRC's projects. Working directly with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers regarding quality issues. The position will monitor information associated with the quality of a project, making process improvements and evaluation of corrective actions taken. Oversee new product launches and coordinate corrective actions across teams. Establish inspection criteria, resolve manufacturing issues, and address operational challenges with internal and external partners. Liaise with suppliers and departments on quality measures, while negotiating and reporting on quality activities with management. Mentor new associates in problem solving and procedures. Evaluate material specification changes and communicate impacts through reports. Verify the vendor's product quality planning and first article inspection for production components. Ensure vendor compliance with new deliveries and coordinate processes between the vendor and HRC-US. Non conformance management and corrective action review in UniPoint and reports. Provide vendor support quality feedback. QE will review manufacturing and design drawings for accuracy to quality requirementsQualifications:
BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Material Science Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience working in an engineering and manufacturing environment and new product development. Perform work with minimal supervision. Team player with strong analytical skills. Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written form. Minimum 7 years of experience working in an engineering and manufacturing environment and new product development. Familiarity with Six Sigma principles Proficient in the use and selection of test equipment required to perform job. Familiarization with raw materials resources and vendor management Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing on engineering drawings. Proficiency in MS Office software Capable to use Minitab and uniPoint Proficiency in developing, analyzing, and presenting on technical documentation.
