Description:
Supplier Quality Engineer | Boulder, CO We're seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced medical device environment. This role focuses on investigating supplier-related quality issues, leading CAPAs, performing root cause analysis, and partnering with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate supplier quality issues, nonconformances, and returned materials (RMA). Lead CAPAs, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification. Monitor supplier performance and drive quality improvements with suppliers. Partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production-related quality concerns. Support nonconforming material investigations, receiving inspection activities, and quality documentation. Utilize quality systems such as TrackWise, Agile, and other internal tools. Participate in supplier audits and support QMS compliance initiatives. Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with CAPAs, root cause analysis, and supplier quality activities. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting nonconformance investigations and quality issue resolution. Comfortable working both on the manufacturing floor and in an office setting. Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience. Knowledge of QMS requirements and supplier audits. Experience with TrackWise, Agile, or similar quality systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
