$85,000 - $105,000 Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and quality assurance sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality/CI department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? Lead the qualification and approval process for new suppliers, including assessments, risk evaluations, validation activities, and First Article Inspections (FAI). Develop and implement supplier audit programs based on risk, quality performance, and business needs. Maintain comprehensive supplier quality records, certifications, and documentation within the Quality Management System. Manage supplier change requests, ensuring proper risk assessments, reviews, and implementation controls are completed prior to release. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to establish and maintain supplier quality requirements and performance expectations. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline. 1-3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality roles. Knowledge of quality systems and tools such as nonconformance management, root cause analysis, CAPA, and risk assessment methodologies. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and make informed quality decisions. Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating across teams. What's in it for me?
