Bonus Roles & Responsibilities:

Involved in problem solving activities for complex issues that involve the given process and associated equipment. Aids in technology transfers to meet production requirements. Demonstrate ability to execute on mid-size projects. Documentation, training and guiding plant engineering and manufacturing team members. Collaborates with location manufacturing management to deliver yield and process improvements at their location. Maintain, analyze and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment to improve efficiency and utilization of resources. Utilizes Structured Problem Solving (SPS), Process Control System (PCS), and Design for Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to resolve complex methodologies and reduce future variation. Actively develops expertise in Lean Six Sigma and process methodologies through hands-on training, practical application in projects, and guidance from project leaders or senior-level colleagues.

Software knowledge:

MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Access, AutoCAD, SolidWorks and MasterCAM are a plus. Must maintain high safety requirements including meeting local consensus safety standards. Performs detail-oriented analysis utilizing statistics and very effective communication skills. Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline

Experience:

1-3 Years Ceramics, Mechanical or Industrial engineering background preferred
