Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Specialized Wireless Process Engineer IV to drive process improvements, streamline intake workflows, and enhance deployment consistency across wireless engineering initiatives. This role focuses on establishing structured processes, improving execution predictability, and enabling engineering teams to operate more efficiently in production environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in wireless networks along with the ability to build and optimize operational processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and mature intake processes to create clear and repeatable workflows into engineering Establish accountability and deployment cadence, including scheduling and sequencing of production changes Stabilize the transition of code upgrades and infrastructure changes from planning to deployment Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams to improve efficiency and execution Collaborate with planning, design, project management, and engineering teams to resolve process gaps Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering activities Design and document communication architectures, including network topologies, hardware, and software components Evaluate new wireless technologies and troubleshoot network issues in production environments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in wireless networking Expert-level experience with carrier-grade WiFi technologies (WiFi 5, 6, and 7) Proven experience deploying changes in live production environments Strong understanding of production deployments, including code upgrades and infrastructure changes Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals such as OSI Model and TCP/IP Proficiency in wireless standards and protocols (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants), bridging, switching, and routing Demonstrated ability to build and improve operational processes and workflows Experience defining intake processes, accountability models, and deployment cadence Familiarity with tools such as Jira and workflow management platforms Experience with network design tools such as Visio or similar Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams to adopt improved processes Preferred Qualifications Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP) certification Experience with vendor-specific wireless technologies such as Cisco, Arris, or Ruckus Experience in large-scale wireless network environments and production support
