About the Opportunity A well-established construction firm focused on multifamily residential developments and commercial projects is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead construction operations in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role will oversee all phases of a high-profile multifamily project from start to finish. Position Overview The Superintendent will manage daily on-site operations, ensuring all construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and deep expertise in wood-frame multifamily construction. Key Responsibilities Oversee construction from initial groundbreaking through final completion Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies Track project schedules and implement adjustments as needed Lead daily safety meetings and enforce on-site safety standards Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and change orders Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reporting Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers Address and resolve construction challenges in a timely manner Uphold quality control across all phases of the project Required Qualifications 5-7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction Thorough knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget Excellent leadership and team coordination skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities OSHA 30 certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Colorado codes and permitting processes Previous work experience in the Grand Junction area Experience with construction management software Additional safety certifications Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary up to $175,000, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Vehicle allowance Ongoing professional development opportunities Performance-based bonuses Clear path for career advancement
