We need an application packaging engineer to package software for automated deployment to new and refreshed devices. This role is onsite in the Washington, D.C. metro area. What you'll do Package, sequence, and test applications for automated deployment (MSI/MSIX/App-V, PSADT wrappers). Build and maintain deployment packages in SCCM/MECM and/or Microsoft Intune (Win32 apps, detection rules).

Support Windows laptop build/refresh:

task sequences, driver and application layering, imaging. Test packages across device models; remediate install/uninstall/detection issues. Document packaging standards and per-application install/config notes. Support endpoint and application readiness for the GCC High migration. Must-haves 3+ years in application/software packaging.

Hands-on packaging:

MSI/MSIX/App-V, repackaging, and the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT). Application deployment via SCCM/MECM and/or Microsoft Intune (Win32 packaging, detection rules). Windows 10/11 laptop build/refresh, imaging, and task sequences. PowerShell scripting. Onsite in the Washington, D.C. metro area. U.S. Green Card holder or U.S. Citizen (this role cannot provide visa sponsorship). Nice-to-haves GCC High / regulated / government environments. Windows Autopilot, driver management, MDT. App-V sequencing; application compatibility testing. Engagement 1099 contract, $35-45/hr, onsite in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
