  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 2 or more years of related work experience
  • Background in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, production support, or operations improvement
  • Support of NASA programs, aerospace programs, or high-volume production programs
  • Analysis of processes, workflows, or production systems
  • Application of data-driven methods for process improvement, planning, or decision-making
  • Generation of Aurora models
  • Development of precedence networks and production schedules
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals Preferred Skills
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, or continuous improvement methodology exposure

  • Analyze production and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, flow, cost, and quality
  • Develop manufacturing and support processes, work methods, and resource utilization strategies
  • Support production planning, workload balancing, line flow analysis, and capacity assessments
  • Conduct time studies, process mapping, and standard work development activities
  • Evaluate data to identify bottlenecks, constraints, and opportunities for lean improvements
  • Implement process changes, work instructions, and operational improvements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues and improve execution
  • Support planning and reporting activities related to schedule adherence, productivity, and operational performance
  • Develop facility layouts, tooling requirements, and process optimization recommendations as needed
  • Utilize data-driven methods to support decision-making, continuous improvement, and operational effectiveness
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to process inefficiencies or production issues
