The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing production processes, identifying efficiency opportunities, optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement efforts across the organization. This role collaborates closely with operations, production, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to improve productivity, safety, quality, and cost performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for productivity and efficiency improvements. Conduct time studies, labor analysis, and capacity assessments to establish accurate production standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies. Develop and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Design and optimize plant layouts, material flow systems, and workstation ergonomics. Support new product introductions and manufacturing process development. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions. Assist in capital equipment evaluations, justification, and implementation projects. Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Participate in value stream mapping and continuous improvement events. Support inventory reduction, logistics optimization, and supply chain improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental standards. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related technical field. 2+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience conducting time studies and work measurement analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and certifications. Knowledge of ERP and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Experience with AutoCAD or facility layout design tools. Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or advanced data analytics. Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
