The Process Engineer is an established performer that is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency. What you'll do:- Design and develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing processes.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Participate on product and new process development teams, making recommendations of manufacturing feasibility and evaluating expenditures.
- Recommend manufacturing concepts while developing and implementing suitable manufacturing processes.
- Assist with identifying equipment allocations and unique tooling required for new product implementation.
- Responsible for implementing and coordinating revisions and improvements to tooling according to customer or product specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to implement process changes and improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed.
- Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
- Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
- Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2-4 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable. What you're good at:
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
