More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an Industrial Engineer in Peachtree City, GA, with Signify. Work with the 3PL team and Owned Sites to produce best practices and ensure highest level of delivery lead times to our customers across our distribution centers (Canada, US and Northern Mexico) Verify and ensure data accuracy by performing time studies, process mapping, and incorporate other Lean tools to improve DC productivity Optimize and maintain site layouts to organize materials, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve labor efficiency Involvement in all facets of the system from ergonomic workstation design, analyzing operations, creating manufacturing standards, problem solving, and assisting with growth planning projects, along with creating visual dashboards at each site Utilize Industrial Engineering techniques, software tools, and Lean concepts such as value stream mapping, 5S, root cause analysis to increase DC output, improve processes, and optimize labor resources More about you While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited institution 3+ years of direct Industrial engineering working in multi-site locations Experience with developing and documenting procedures Advanced knowledge of warehouse operations, processes, and standards Project Management experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
