Our client is seeking a Materials Engineer to improve the efficiency, quality, and reliability of our tire curing process. In this role, you'll lead engineering projects focused on reducing manufacturing costs, increasing production capacity, improving equipment performance, and optimizing cure cycles through data-driven decision making. You'll collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Product Engineering to analyze process performance, implement continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, and support new product launches. This position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on productivity, quality, and overall manufacturing performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field 1-5 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience Experience with process improvement, statistical analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, DOE, Minitab, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is a plus Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills

Pay:

$73,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year
