As a Operations Improvement Engineer in Boise, ID, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our manufacturing processes. This outstanding opportunity allows you to apply your expertise to drive outstanding operational efficiency and deliver flawless results that compete on a world-class level!Responsibilities:
- Optimize scheduling automation, real-time manufacturing decision-support reporting, and line management analytics.
- Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs.
- Using current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.
- Partner with management to provide data analysis, advanced production web-reports, and develop applications to improve production metrics.
- Interacting with users to define system requirements, you will complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- Build and coordinate projects that lead to cycle time reduction and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize Fab processes and eliminate waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies & regulations and report any safety-related concerns immediately.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of engineering or semiconductor experience with proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of programming languages and databases such as C#, Python, SQL, Perl, and APF required.
- Intermediate understanding of database management methods and techniques including proficiency in SQL, Snowflake required
- Understanding of manufacturing science concepts, including scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning, to support scheduling optimization and equipment capacity analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills.
- Experience with additional technologies such as VBA, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Snowflake will be plus.
- Knowledge of change management and release management fields.
- Proven ability to plan, drive, and complete projects effectively with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of AI and experience in Code Generation Utilities like Claude Code, Cursor, Tabnine LLM, Agentic AI etc.
