Manufacturing Operations Lead

About the Role As a Manufacturing Operations Lead, you will spearhead our production facility, driving efficiency and quality across our engineering and assembly teams. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing workflows, managing complex project schedules, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to ensure we meet our ambitious production goals. Responsibilities Direct daily manufacturing activities, including production, engineering design, and automation, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Lead and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and technical staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards. Develop and implement advanced process technologies to integrate new product designs seamlessly into the production line. Optimize operational throughput by refining process flows and establishing rigorous production schedules. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance overall productivity. Maintain accurate inventory data within ERP systems and conduct root cause analysis on production variances to prevent future disruptions. Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by upholding strict safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management, including direct oversight of personnel and hiring. Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and cross-functional team leadership. Proven ability to manage production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software. Preferred Skills Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance programs and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tracking. Experience interpreting and improving complex technical product designs.
