Job Description

[ Summary ] Supports the design of paint jigs, robotic paint programs, and manufacturing process improvements. Assists with new project launches, trial production, equipment implementation, continuous improvement activities, and communication with overseas engineering teams.​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​[ Essential Duties ​​​​​​​] ​​​​​ Design and improve paint jigs, fixtures, and robotic paint programs. Support new product launches, trial production, and process improvements. Assist with jig redesign, repair, tooling, and production control. Develop and improve painting processes, methods, and production standards. Lead Kaizen and 5S activities and provide training to production team members. Train engineers and operators on new equipment and systems. Coordinate with overseas engineering teams on technical projects. Perform additional engineering and production support tasks as needed. ​​​​​​​[ Qualifications ​​​] ​​​​​​​To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals documents (Japanese language). Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Computer Skills Knowledge of using database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet and Word Processing software. Experience Not less than three (3) years experience as painting operation work.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
