1st ShiftPosition Overview:
- We're partnering with a growing engineering and manufacturing organization to hire a Process Engineer.
What You'll Do:
- Manage assigned engineering design projects from initial concept through completion Participate in the design, planning, and oversight of equipment construction to ensure products meet performance requirements Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and timelines Perform engineering calculations related to pumping and piping systems, thermal heat transfer, and fluid dynamics Interface directly with customers to discuss engineering designs, answer technical questions, and resolve project concerns Create, revise, and maintain detailed piping and mechanical system drawings Ensure the accuracy and completeness of shop drawings for assigned projects Review and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) Serve as the engineering liaison between production and engineering teams regarding manufacturing and design issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product efficiency, reliability, serviceability, performance, and overall value Utilize CAD and drafting software to support engineering and design activities Support control systems integration and software-related engineering initiatives Manage engineering documentation and records to maintain project accuracy and compliance Travel locally and overnight as needed to support projects and customer requirements •
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field preferred Minimum of 5 years of engineering project design experience AutoCAD and 3D design experience, preferably with Inventor Strong drafting and technical drawing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn internal database systems Working knowledge of control systems and associated software Understanding of applicable company, state, and federal regulations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Effective project management and organizational abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel locally and overnight as required (approximately 10%) Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered Customer service experience is preferred but not required You should be proficient in: CAD Software
