Job Description

Description:
As an Engineering Co-op, you'll work alongside experienced engineering professionals to gain hands-on experience in the sand casting industry. This role offers valuable exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll develop technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while contributing to real-world engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing operations through process control and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with product and process development projects focused on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions. Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Prepare technical documentation, update work instructions, and contribute to engineering reports and project documentation. Learn and apply industry standards, quality systems, and best practices related to sand casting and manufacturing processes. Participate in cross-functional projects that support operational excellence and continuous improvement. What You'll Gain Hands-on engineering experience in the aerospace sand casting industry. Requirements:
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another related field Must have a minimum of 12 semester hours in core degree course work Individual should be a rising sophomore (at minimum) when co-op begins Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or at any point in the future
