Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Manager to lead our supplier quality assurance initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Lead supplier qualification processes, including audits, assessments, and approval procedures aligned with industry standards such as
AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949

ISO 9001.
Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis to resolve defects and optimize processes. Conduct comprehensive supplier evaluations focusing on quality control practices, defect resolution root cause analysis, and adherence to regulatory/legal compliance standards in production such as FDA regulations. Collaborate with sourcing and supply chain teams to establish vendor quality assurance protocols, monitor supplier performance metrics, and manage supplier audits. Utilize statistical data analysis tools like Minitab for quality control analysis, process capability studies (GD&T), and engineering data analysis to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the execution of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities ensuring suppliers meet all quality standards before production release. Facilitate cross-functional teams in defect resolution root cause analysis, process engineering improvements, and implementing corrective actions aligned with quality management standards. Requirements Proven experience in supplier quality engineering within manufacturing or industrial settings with a strong understanding of quality systems such as
AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949
2016, ISO 9001, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Demonstrated ability in vendor management practices including supplier audits, vendor qualification processes, and supply chain collaboration. Expertise in statistical data analysis using tools like Minitab or similar software for quality control purposes. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards applicable to manufacturing environments including FDA regulations where relevant. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and defect root cause analysis techniques. Experience managing projects related to process engineering improvements and implementing quality assurance programs in a manufacturing context.
