Job Description The Automation & Controls Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Design, develop, and support automation and control systems for pump and process equipment. Create and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming solutions. Develop electrical and controls documentation, including schematics, control narratives, and test procedures. Support system integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, and start-up activities. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to optimize product performance. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications. The Successful Applicant Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience developing and supporting industrial automation systems. Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial control systems. Familiarity with HMI, SCADA, industrial networks, and instrumentation. Experience within pumps, rotating equipment, water treatment, manufacturing, process industries, or related sectors is advantageous. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project execution skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
