VAVE Integration Manager FBSPL Detroit, MI Job Details Full-time $90,000 - $100,000 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Cost management Mechanical blueprint interpretation Blueprint specification interpretation Supply chain cost analysis Procurement financial analysis Procurement cost reduction targets Supplier development Cost reduction analysis Manufacturing PPAP Supplier quality assurance (SQA) Part sourcing Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a VAVE Integration Manager to connect Engineering, Purchasing, and Suppliers while driving VA/VE initiatives, cost reduction, supplier collaboration, and sustainable improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead VA/VE initiatives across Engineering, Purchasing, and Suppliers. Drive early supplier involvement and cost-effective design solutions. Identify cost-saving opportunities through design, materials, and process improvements. Conduct supplier cost and TCO analysis . Build strong supplier relationships and support co-development. Track and report VA/VE savings and cost targets. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of manufacturing buying/sourcing experience. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and TCO. Experience with supplier cost analysis and VA/VE initiatives. Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes . Experience with domestic and international suppliers. Knowledge of metals, rubber, injection molding, machining, or castings is a plus. Pay:
