Job Description:

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing company that is seeking an Industrial Engineer with strong MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) experience to support manufacturing operations, labor optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Engineering Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP. Responsibilities Perform MTM analysis and develop accurate labor standards for manufacturing operations Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and line balancing activities Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize labor utilization Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across production operations Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency, ergonomics, quality, and throughput Assist with plant layout optimization, workstation design, and process flow improvements Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation Support capacity planning, staffing models, and production forecasting activities Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve process-related issues Participate in new product launches, equipment implementation, and process validation activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience with MTM, labor standards, and time study methodologies Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to interpret production data and drive process improvements
