Production and Advanced Seating Engineer RCO Engineering - 3.2 Roseville, MI Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description The RCO Engineering team is looking for an energetic organized Seating Engineer who can provide leadership and technical problem solving skills to our expanding engineering team. Core Responsibilities The ability to scope new projects from start to finish, define action plans, and develop unique solutions to bring ideas to reality. Work with the CAD Design Team to start and evolve seating related 3D CAD solutions. Creative mindset to pioneer new solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements. The ability to lead engineering solutions and prototype builds. Understand seat structural design, CAE and validation testing/certification. Ability to keep the joint RCO team on track to meet all program milestones. Ability and confidence to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of Management internally and with our diverse customer base. Lead Engineering related face to face and Teams based meetings between customers and RCO team members and be able to lead the customer to a solution. Maintain, track, and work to close-out open items lists. Coordinate and manage prototype property builds and root cause technical issues. The aptitude and ability to multitask while working on multiple projects which may have various timelines and associated deliverables. A positive can-do attitude to support RCO Engineering leadership as necessary to meet and exceed customer expectations. Requirements 3-5 years of engineering experience. 3 years of seating related experience. Related work experience in the Automotive, Defense, and/or Aerospace Industry. A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
