Job Description

Junior Process Engineer Summary Performs routine, entry-level engineering tasks and Department support with the goal of developing more advanced process engineering skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides general technical support to the engineering department. Verifies and tests assigned metrics on projects. Enters test results into quality control database. Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with development of appropriate solutions. Ensures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, products, and areas. Identifies and reports problems with specific processes or products to senior engineers. Assists senior engineers in the development of new methods to improve product quality and process efficacy and efficiency. Program launch support to other Department Engineers - from prototyping to run-at-rate production. Develops the flowforming knowledge necessary to develop brand new parts, as well as optimizing existing production through higher technology Technical support to other areas of the company on an as-needed basis, including, but not limited to, production setups/problem resolution, manufacturing (layouts, changeovers etc.), quality (PPAP's, CMM activities) etc. Owns and manages assigned cells/products, reporting key measurables to management team.
