Job Description

Supplier Quality Engineer Travel:
Up to 40% We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer with experience in automotive or HVAC manufacturing environments to support supplier quality, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excellence initiatives. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
  • 4+ years of Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality experience.
  • Experience with welding , steel/stainless steel tubing , or metal fabrication processes.
  • Strong knowledge of:
APQP, PPAP
FMEA, Control Plans Root Cause Analysis (RCCA, 8D, 5 Why)
ISO 9001
Quality Systems
  • Excellent communication and supplier management skills. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
  • Lead supplier corrective actions and root cause investigations.
  • Support supplier audits, PPAP submissions, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing teams to reduce quality risks.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • CQE, CQA, or CMQ certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
  • Internal Auditor training or certification.
