Job Description
Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is seeking an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer. This position is in your backyard.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering (or similar) from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of quality engineering, quality assurance, or quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
- ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System
- Customer audits, certification audits, government inspections, and regulatory assessments
- Government/Military contract review
- Government source inspection
- Engineering change reviews and evaluating quality impacts of design or process changes
- Direct experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Metrology and Calibration systems
- Experience with ERP systems, document control systems, and electronic quality management systems
- Experience in a small-to-medium-sized manufacturing organization where the individual owned multiple aspects of the quality function
