Akkodis is seeking an Industrial Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate has proven ability to lead small teams, manage project execution, and drive equipment integration, testing, and corrective actions with minimal supervision.

Rate Range:

$35/Hour to $39/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Industrial Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams to ensure successful project execution and system performance. Lead PLC integration, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities for complex automated systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to optimize system functionality. Supervise a team of 2 to 3 engineers/technicians while managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Drive equipment integration, system implementation, and continuous improvements to meet project objectives and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, industrial automation, or complex system integration projects. Hands-on experience with PLC programming, integration, and troubleshooting, preferably with Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLCs.
