Located in our Columbia, MO plant, you will be an Process Engineer. As a Process Engineer you will guide activities that develop people, improve customer satisfaction, and implement innovative solutions to problems and/or process issues for manufacturing value streams assigned. Keys Responsibilities (to name a few) Lead scrap reduction initiatives for assigned value streams. Drive cost reduction efforts within designated value streams. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned processes within the plant. Plan, organize, and present data collection efforts related to defect reduction and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Provide advisory support to the maintenance team, focusing on troubleshooting and diagnostic evaluations of production equipment. Collaborate on the development of upgrade plans for existing equipment to enhance performance and reliability. Contribute to the design and implementation of work standards, quality control charts, systems, and other operational excellence tools to support plant improvement objectives. About You Bachelor's degree preferred in: Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Experience with textiles or cord treatment is highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility in problem-solving and facilitating improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement continuous improvement projects through hands-on, floor-level engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Basic knowledge of automotive quality systems, such as APQP, PPAP, Gage R&R, Process Capability, and Manufacturing Feasibility Studies. Familiarity with quality tools and standards, including Gage R&R, Capability Studies, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, and Process Control Plans (PCP). Knowledge of Six Sigma principles and project management methodologies.
