Job Purpose Responsible for design, development, evaluation, analysis, selecting and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products and systems. Oversees and manages the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment/processes/systems. Keeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Provides expert technical support to operations and other disciplines within engineering organization. Identifies, develops, recommends, and manages processes needed to produce specific products and components. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan/perform the functions of the job. Works on highly technical problems of diverse and complex scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under limited supervision. Experience:

BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering. 7 - 10+ years engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of direct project management experience. Supervisory experience desired for future growth potential.
