• Description/Comment: (Responsibilities)
• + Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Database Engineering deliverables.

+ Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

+ Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Database Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

+ Collaborate with client personnel in Database Engineering.

• Required Skills
• + 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

+ 3-7 years of experience supporting Oracle databases in enterprise environments.

+ Strong understanding of:

+ Oracle Database Administration

+ Oracle

SQL + PL/SQL

+ Query tuning

+ Execution plans

+ Performance diagnostics

+ Experience working with:

+ AWR

+ ASH

+ SQL Tuning

+ Optimizer behavior

+ Statistics management

+ Experience developing automation solutions for database operations.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear operational recommendations.
