Process Engineer Posted on July 7, 2025 July 7, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented process engineer to join a high-performance manufacturing team. This role is critical in driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization, statistical analysis, and equipment specification, with proven success in industries such as aerospace, automotive, chemical manufacturing, or oil & gas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to take ownership of technical process improvements while working cross-functionally to implement sustainable, scalable solutions in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and optimize key process parameters such as temperature, gas/liquid pressure, flow rates, and cycle times to ensure operational efficiency Establish and maintain statistical process controls (SPC) to ensure product consistency and minimize variability Evaluate and refine equipment specifications for improved integration and performance within production systems Troubleshoot process issues and lead root cause analysis with effective, data-driven solutions Lead continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with ISO and industry standards Integrate automation, robotics, and AI technologies to drive operational efficiency Collaborate with teams across design, production, and supply chain to align process enhancements with broader operational goals Apply Six Sigma, Kaizen, and DMAIC methodologies to boost productivity and reduce waste Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, Process, Petroleum, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering 8-15 years of experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on process improvement and technical troubleshooting Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and process engineering software Strong understanding of SPC, lean manufacturing, and quality control systems Familiarity with automation systems and robotics integration Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Industry experience in aerospace, automotive, chemical manufacturing, or oil & gas strongly preferred Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Six Sigma Certification Lean Manufacturing Certification PMP or related project management certification What the Role Offers Competitive base salary plus annual bonus opportunity Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 Placement fee: 25% Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus Opportunity to lead high-impact process improvement initiatives A collaborative work environment with strong leadership support Exposure to advanced technologies and lean methodologies Why Monroe?
