Job Description

About the Role As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimizing our production workflows, enhancing quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions, support new product launches, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Develop and maintain essential process documentation, including PFMEAs, control plans, and standard operating procedures to ensure manufacturing consistency. Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate process waste through Lean methodologies, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping. Design and implement custom tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to boost production safety and repeatability. Perform root-cause analysis on equipment and quality issues, executing corrective actions to maintain throughput goals. Support capital projects by gathering technical data, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and assisting with installation and validation. Conduct statistical data collection and capability studies to monitor process performance and drive optimization. Engage in daily Gemba walks to identify hazards and implement engineering controls that uphold EHS standards. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Foundational knowledge of APQP, Lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in CAD modeling and drafting software. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and technical documentation. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Preferred Skills Familiarity with manufacturing codes such as ASME or ISO standards. Prior experience in a high-volume production or assembly environment. Demonstrated success in managing small-scale process improvement projects.
