Accepting Candidates About the role Join a supplier quality team supporting supplier compliance, inspection activities, and corrective action management within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on supplier quality oversight, root cause analysis, supplier qualification, and quality system compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering within aerospace, defense, medical device, or regulated manufacturing industries. Key Responsibilities Conduct source inspections, incoming inspections, and material surveys Review and evaluate Supplier First Article Inspections (FAIs) Support qualification and evaluation of suppliers for Approved Supplier List (ASL) inclusion Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain teams on supplier selection activities Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) Ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented Support supplier quality improvement initiatives Review supplier compliance with technical and quality requirements Support supplier audits and quality investigations Maintain compliance with regulated quality systems and standards Travel occasionally to supplier locations in the Northeast and Mexico Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (Electrical preferred) 2+ years of Supplier Quality or Manufacturing/Quality Engineering experience Experience working with quality systems, including:
ISO 9001 ISO 13485 AS9100 APQP PPAP SPC
Experience managing SCARs and corrective actions Experience reviewing FAIs (First Article Inspections) Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings Knowledge of GD&T preferred Experience working with enterprise systems such as:
PLM ERP MRP MES
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and supplier coordination skills Active passport required for occasional travel Preferred Qualifications Experience working in: Aerospace Defense Medical Device manufacturing Experience supporting supplier audits and supplier development activities Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments Compensation Estimated hourly range: $50-$58/hr (W-2) Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
