Description Project Support:
 Lead effort to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks. Interacting w/ Quality, Design and Production teams to ensure changes are fully vetted and compliant to customer requirements.
Process Improvement:
 Provide support to manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Data Analysis:
 Collect and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making processes using Minitab and/or MS Excel.
Documentation:
 Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Equipment Maintenance:
 Assist in the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
 Work closely with other departments, such as R D, Quality, and Production, to support overall manufacturing goals.
Safety Compliance:
 Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Competencies Requirements:
Education:
 Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
 Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Certification), and statistical analysis tools.
Analytical Skills:
 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Communication:
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player:
 Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Attention to
Detail:
 High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
