job summary: Manufacturing company with locations nationwide is targeting an Automation Engineer for their facility in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Level I Automation/Controls experience in manufacturing or heavy industry. BS in Engineering or related technical/military training required. Relocation assistance provided.
location:
South Amboy, New Jersey job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Develop and implement automation systems for various production processes.

Design and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation components.

Design and maintain SQL/Oracle databases for production logs, material tracking, and historical data analysis.

Analyze automated processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Provide technical support for automation systems and equipment.

Manage any automation projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
Requirements:
BS Electrical Engineering or similar required3+ years of industrial automation experience requiredExperience programming PLCs from scratch desired, HMIs as well
