The Manufacturing Industrial Engineer will support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to capture and document manufacturing processes through video recordings and observational studies to support time studies, workflow analysis, and process optimization efforts. The Manufacturing Industrial Engineer may also assist with light manufacturing improvement projects, data collection, and documentation activities as assigned.Key Responsibilities:
- Record and document manufacturing processes to support time studies and process evaluations.
- Assist in gathering and organizing production and workflow data.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to understand process flow and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with updating process documentation, work instructions, and project records.
- Perform other entry-level manufacturing and process improvement projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and interact professionally with production employees.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
