• Product Development What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Managing supplier quality performance through audits, scorecards and metrics Developing and implementing supplier quality management system (QMS) processes Coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers Reviewing supplier documentation, test reports and compliance evidence Supporting design reviews and design control activities with supplier partners Conducting field failure analysis and root cause investigations Communicating quality requirements and standards to suppliers Maintaining quality records and regulatory compliance documentation What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 5-10 years of supplier quality, quality engineering or manufacturing quality experience Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 or equivalent standards Experience with supplier audits, CAPA processes and corrective action tracking Familiarity with design controls, design reviews and testing protocols 1-2 years' experience leading or coordinating cross-functional supplier quality initiatives Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field Proficiency in CAD software and quality management tools Authorization to work in the United States What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Direct involvement in improving supplier performance and product reliability Exposure to design standards, system integration and field application experience Potential to mentor or coordinate with other team members as the role evolves Scope to develop expertise in manufacturing quality processes and regulatory compliance Contract flexibility and day-rate compensation at $560 - $800 per day Opportunity to work on diverse products and manufacturing environments About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group connects talented professionals with forward-thinking organizations across engineering, manufacturing and product development.
