Co-op Associate About the Opportunity Kelly® is seeking an Operations & Materials Planning Co-op Associate to support our client's manufacturing operations. This role offers hands-on experience in operations, production planning, inventory management, supply chain, data analysis, and process improvement. Education Requirement Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Must be eligible to participate in a college co-op program. Responsibilities Collect and analyze production, inventory, and operational data. Create and maintain Excel reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Support production and materials planning activities. Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess, and slow-moving materials. Track purchase orders and assist with supplier follow-up. Monitor throughput, productivity, safety, quality, and delivery results. Assist with continuous improvement, inventory control, and process improvement projects. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Help ensure data accuracy in ERP systems and spreadsheets. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. Support special projects and daily team activities. Gain exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems, and data visualization tools. Requirements Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Eligible to participate in a college co-op program. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Eager to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Coursework or experience in operations, supply chain, procurement, planning, manufacturing, or continuous improvement. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools. Interest in manufacturing, distribution, inventory management, or supply chain operations. Why Apply?
