Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our growing team! Industrial Management & Engineering Group (IMEG) is an engineering consulting firm specializing in a wide range of Industrial Engineering services and methodologies. Unlike a traditional manufacturing engineering role, our consultants have the opportunity to work on multiple projects across a variety of industries and manufacturing environments. This exposure provides the opportunity to rapidly expand your Industrial Engineering skill set, work directly with customers, take ownership of meaningful projects, and solve new and challenging problems. Rather than focusing on the same processes year after year, you'll gain hands-on experience identifying opportunities and developing solutions for a variety of manufacturing operations. As an Industrial Engineer with IMEG, you will work with our clients to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity and efficiency, evaluate capacity and resource requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Industrial Engineering principles and enjoys applying those skills in real-world manufacturing environments. We're looking for someone who is an effective communicator, collaborative team player, quick learner, and problem solver who is excited about working with customers and taking on new challenges. If you enjoy variety, continuous learning, and seeing the impact of your work across different manufacturing operations, IMEG offers an opportunity to build your Industrial Engineering career while gaining experience that would be difficult to achieve in a traditional single-facility engineering role. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or related field 2+ years of experience in IE or related field Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Excel Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to visualize Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments
