Description Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing quality and safety across manufacturing and operational systems. This role applies engineering principles, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to design, evaluate, and implement effective workflows, layouts, and standards.
Job Duties:
Analyze existing production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for improvement. Design and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentation. Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and labor optimization assessments. Improve facility layouts, material flow, and workstation ergonomics to enhance productivity and safety. Collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support business objectives. Support new product introductions through process design, tooling requirements, and production readiness activities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to track performance and improvement results. Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Working Conditions:
This position operates in a combination of office and manufacturing floor environments. The employee must have the ability to stand, walk, and observe operations for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting, bending, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands.
